This Sunday, September 27, 2026, marks the final session of ARC’s  4-month journey together. Over the past few months, we have explored the foundational pillars of African-American history and culture: Resilience, Community, Family, and Music. We conclude this weekend with our fifth and final pillar: Faith: The historical and anchoring role of spirituality and the Black church.

Our Commitment to Historical Truth and Facts

ARC has always been about facts. In keeping with that commitment, we will not dilute historical facts for individual comfort. 

The Black church is foundational to African-American resilience. Because centering a discussion around this history may cause discomfort for some, we invite you to lean into this learning experience and sit with these essential truths. 

However, if you feel you cannot engage with this specific topic at this time, we respect your choice to step away and join a future cohort.
