Angela Chandler is employed by The MITRE Corporation (MITRE) which is headquartered in McLean, Virginia, and Bedford, Massachusetts, and has hubs across the United States as well as internationally. MITRE is a research and development organization that serves in the public interest and supports U.S. government agencies. 

At MITRE, Angela is a Business & Technology Strategist who supports healthcare agencies to develop business and communications plans. 

In addition to her daily duties, she supports initiatives within the Inclusion and Diversity division and helped to set up a Multicultural Employee Resource Group called MERG. MERG led to the creation of additional networks such as the LatinX Network, Black Community Network, as well as the Asian and Islander Pacific Network. 

Angela has led book clubs and seminars on addressing and talking about “taboo” topics in the workplace that revolve around racism, culture, misogyny, etc.

Maja Sandstrom is an experienced Talent Acquisition Professional with over ten years of expertise and a dedicated history of over 15 years in volunteering and organizational work.

Maja is currently working as a Resource Manager at a multinational consulting firm. She also leads the “Succeeding Here” pillar for her community’s DEI team, with a primary focus on promoting and facilitating DEI training and visibility within her KPMG teams.

Maja leads the Community Support Online Learning and Events team at MoveOn. 

She is also a member of (ARC) the AntiRacist.Conversations Events Planning team.

Living in Chicago, Illinois, she shares her home with her senior cat, Charles, and has recently welcomed Domingo into her family.
