Zoi…As an AntiRacist group, we have three specific objectives…Celebrate.Educate.Cultivate
Each person should always have something to celebrate, to learn through education, and to cultivate by continuing to build relational partnerships and friendships. Today, we will celebrate with 7 of our friends. The next hour and fifteen minutes have been set aside as a time to celebrate the incredible works of advocacy done by Gabi, Chris, Sana, Amanda, Durrel, Saskia, and Bekir.
Led by Ivy and Zoi
Five Fingers….Five Statements...”Fun” Action
Have participants introduce themselves through five statements, each representing a different finger.
Pinky = a small thing about yourself (AKA a fun fact)
Ring = something you love
Middle = something you greatly dislike
Pointer = where you’re going (could be upcoming travel plans to keep it literal or personal goals to take the prompt more metaphorically)
Thumb = where you’ve been (take this as literal or as metaphorical as you’d like to)
Create Skits from items in the Paper Bag.
Paper Bag Skit( Designed to include our special guests and all attendees) If the groups are too large, we’ll need to have four groups, rather than two. Equally, divide attendees teams.
Ivy, Zoi, Paul, and Jaden will have a paper bag of assorted
objects, such as spoons, books, candy bars, hats, caps, beach towels, flashlights, bars of soap, earbuds, etc.
Each of your teams will have 15-20 minutes to come up with a skit using
the props.
After all the skits have been planned and rehearsed, each group will perform their skits for everyone.
Paul: Ask guest to offer a very brief moral for the activities, so far. (Key response is team unity, respect, quality time, celebration collaboration, etc)
Paul…pass the baton to Jaden
Jaden Jefferson …….Let’s Talk. (Interview Friends) .. All talking points will be from each person’s bio.
Jaden Jefferson One-on-One Interview with Durrel Douglas “What’s Your Jersey?” Durrel has a very motivational story to tell about the jersey.
Closure Ivy and ZOI
